Toonry is all about sharing the gems the artists have created in the past with todays generation.
We believe all images used on Toonry to be free of known restrictions under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights. As the artists have been deceased for more than 70 years, and the works have been published before 1923 these works are considered to be in the public domain. However, copyright is a complicated matter and there are many exceptions throughout the world.
Many, if not all, images on Toonry have been adapted for the purpose of showing the images and/or its details at its best. No changes have been made to the creations other than cropping or enhancing the images.
Toonry has made the effort to acknowledge the artists and the institutions where the original images may be found. If, however, you feel copyrights have been infringed please contact Toonry and we will take appropriate action.
